To help you get the best from your new upholstery and prolong the life of it, simply read the following care advice.

Initial tips:

  1. Carefully read your Manufacturer’s care instructions (if provided).
  2. Keep your upholstery away from direct heat or air conditioning vents.
  3. Protect your upholstered furniture from direct sunlight.
  4. Blot up accidental spills immediately (Avoid using excessive water or detergent to remove the stain. Professional cleaning (or repair) may be used). Use a damp colour-free cloth or sponge.
  5. Avoid leaving newspaper on your suite since ink may stain the cover.
  6. Never force the recliner mechanism to open and close.
  7. Avoid sitting on the edges of cushions or the arms since this may cause permanent distortion on the padding and fabric.
  8. Avoid sharp items such as zips, belts and buckles scratching the surface of the Leather.

  1. Before delivery of your upholstery, please leave enough space for our Delivery team to maneuver it safely into your room.
  2. Once all the packaging of your upholstery has been removed, please inspect your new furniture. Make sure you are fully satisfied before our delivery team leaves your home.
  3. If you have wooden floors, please use a protective felt on the feet of your new upholstery in order to prevent scratching.

Daily care

  1. Please follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
  2. Vacuum clean your upholstery at least once a week and dust frequently with a soft cloth.
  3. Plump up and turn back cushions frequently to retain their best appearance.
  4. Try to have your upholstered furniture professionally cleaned at least once a year.
  5. When cleaning your suite, make sure all the items are cleaned at the same time to prevent colour discrepancies.

Since there is a wide variety of different upholstery (i.e. in terms of fabric constructions), it is recommended to contact professional upholstery cleaners for any cleaning concerns.
